30 Years of Prestressed Technology Evolution in China's Construction Sector: From Import to Independent Innovation

Over the past three decades, prestressed technology in China has evolved through three phases: introduction (1990s, learning international standards), accumulation (2000s, localized application and standard co-development), and innovation (2010s to present, scenario-specific breakthroughs). Now entering a new stage of digitalization and internationalization, this article traces the trajectory and highlights BICP's contributions—3D finite element optimization algorithms, BICP-ST cryogenic anchorage system, and participation in eight industry standards.
