Chengdu Airbus Full Lifecycle Project – Post-Tensioned Floor

The Airbus Aircraft Full Lifecycle Service Project is a key China-Europe cooperation project. The general contractor is China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, and the designer is China Aviation Planning and Design Institute. The site has complex geological conditions and large single-bay areas, requiring a nearly seamless floor capable of withstanding thousand-ton loads. As the post-tensioned floor subcontractor, BICP proposed the Taiping ultra-long joint-free floor solution, enhancing the integrity and long-term stability of the large-area, high-load floor. The project has been completed and in operation for two years, with the post-tensioned floor performing well and all technical indicators stable. This project demonstrates the effectiveness of AI-powered engineering project digital management platform in coordinating design, construction, and subcontracting for complex industr.
